Maria’s bio

Scientific Research Team, prev. Organizational Management & Graphic Design

Originally from Romania, I moved to London at 18 to study Engineering and Management at University College London, before completing a Master’s in Neuroscience at the University of Geneva, where I am now pursuing a PhD.

My interest in novel mental health interventions led me to join UCL’s Society for the Application of Psychedelics and, later, the Association pour la Recherche sur les Psychédéliques at UNIGE. Building on this, I became involved with ALPS Foundation.

Professionally, I am purpose-driven and engaged in cross-disciplinary research spanning mental health, sustainability, AI for Good, and philanthropy. Within psychedelics, my focus is on contributing to collective efforts to advance their medical and therapeutic use through research, public awareness, and science communication.

Personally, I am guided by empathy and authenticity, values I seek to bring into my work.
